TrustPoint is proud to announce its tenth year as a locally owned & operated full-service insurance and real estate agency. In an era when independent locally owned companies come and go in small rural communities, TrustPoint has achieved a decade of innovation and steady growth.
TrustPoint began operations in 2009 when Angela Trimble & Janet Payne, the company's founders, purchased a local insurance and real estate company. At that time, they staffed three customer service insurance agents, one insurance salesperson & two realtors.
The early success of TrustPoint indicated a growing demand for high-level customer service, insurance risk analysis & consulting services. TrustPoint implemented several programs to assist & consult clients in securing insurance coverages & real estate services that fit its client's needs.
In 2017, TrustPoint acquired another locally independently-owned, long-standing company, Coffey County Insurance in Burlington, KS. It merged all clients into the TrustPoint location in Burlington. In 2018, Gina Berry, owner of Coffey County Real Estate, joined the TrustPoint Real Estate Team. This merger added a combined 55 years to their team's experience in the insurance & real estate industry.
TrustPoint has recently expanded into two surrounding communities - opening an office in Emporia/Lyon County in 2015, and recently the company expanded into Garnett/Anderson County with the purchase in 2018 of another independently locally owned insurance & real estate company, The C.D. Schulte Agency.
TrustPoint's service area has grown substantially over the last decade. Not only does it include three physical locations in Coffey, Lyon & Anderson Counties, but the company also writes insurance in multiple states. As of the date of publication, they are licensed to write insurance business in the states of Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma and Arkansas. TrustPoint has grown its service team into eight customer service representatives, five insurance salespeople and four realtors, in addition to the dually-licensed owners who are heavily involved in the day-to-day operations.
TrustPoint's continual upgrading of existing products reflects the company's ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, powerful and robust solutions for their clients. To date, TrustPoint contracts with over 30 National Insurance Carriers. A few of the product lines include but are not limited to Home, Auto, Motorcycle, Recreational Vehicle, Dwelling, Renters, Condo, Umbrella, Life, Small Business to Large Commercial and all types of Agriculture products from Farmowners, Heavy Trucks, Crop & Animal Mortality.
"Our success and longevity are due in part to the advanced capabilities and continuous improvement of our products," states founder Janet Payne.
"We're always looking for ways to improve and take our customer service to the next level. We want to keep up with the technology changes of our industry while still maintaining the personal relationships with our clients," states founder Angela Trimble.
As TrustPoint's customer base has expanded during its ten-year history, the company has focused on training and high-level customer services as prime components of its decision analysis solutions. These services aid TrustPoint customers in making their insurance and real estate process more seamless and a more enjoyable experience.
